Bought this laptop because of the brand and all the features. The tag worked fine, and then I wanted to update the BIOS. I ran the update which should have taken 2-5 minutes. After 3 hours the laptop is still running with a black screen and I called support. The first person told me that the update could take up to 3 hours (not true). I tried turning off the laptop using the power button but to no avail. After 3 hours I called support again and was told to turn off with the power button (like I hadn't already done it 10 times). I was also told to unplug the power cord. The battery is fully charged and now I have to wait for the battery to run out. In addition, the service department offered to issue a repair order. This laptop is a day old and I bought it new. I don't need a laptop repair. I will return it as soon as the battery runs out.
