Not for swimming on MP3 and MP4 players. Accessories

My wife gave me this for Christmas. I like swimming in circles and it's definitely boring, so I welcomed the prospect of having a little fun to help out. When I opened the box I couldn't believe they were trying to use earbuds, I mean it's hard for me to keep them dry in my ears. Of course they are a problem. Although if I actually put them in my ears they stay, water will still get between the earbuds and my eardrums. Water is a poor conductor of sound, so you can't hear any music (except bass), which is more annoying than silence. If I hadn't had them, I would never have bought them. It looks like I'm going to buy some headphones for the underwater channel. Do not purchase this item for swimming. It's actually waterproof, but it doesn't do the job. I would recommend buying the one that comes with ear canal inserts.

Pros
  • Sling fits comfortably around the arm
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
