They're great for running cables through the firewall. Make sure you have a 1.25 inch drill bit or hole saw depending on the type of material you are working with. I liked that they came in a 2 pack so I had one left for the fire wall and the other in case I needed to walk the floor outside the cab. Don't be the type to run your wires a) under the fender and through the door jamb or something, or b) drill through the firewall and then not use the grommet! Especially if you have a 4th gen ram (like me) this is perfect for you.
