We chose this umbrella because it had a lot of ribs (10 versus 6 or 8 on many cheaper umbrellas) thinking it would be more durable. The quality is acceptable and I really like the reflective tape on the edge. The only issue is that the handle is too short (only 18 inches when fully extended) and the strap is too short to fit my small hand (only 6 inches in circumference). This means that you always have to hold it in your hand and cannot use the strap. Those two issues aside, this would be a great umbrella. It looks reasonably built and will likely be decent in the wind.
