Worth the slightly higher price / great for powerlifting meet prep

I just received this beautiful set of microplates. I did a lot of research and thought that it would be worth spending a little extra money to get top quality plates.I use them for my bench press workouts at the local commercial gym. The smallest plates available at my gym are 2.5 pounds. These micro plates work wonderfully to allow me to add much smaller increments of weight while still seeing strength gains. Perfect for preparing for powerlifting meets.The quality of the plates is excellent. I keep them in my gym bag inside the sturdy cardboard box that they came packed in. Very satisfied with such a well made product. Fit and finish is perfect .
