Not as chunky as the pictures. I've recently worn it under a denim jacket to have some padding while still looking good and it works well. Just ordered another one in plain anthracite. The lining isn't super bulky, but enough to feel the difference outdoors. Quilted lining and not too short or too long Side pockets are nice but not big enough for something like an iPhone. Another review said something about a thin collar, they are right. It's not a very durable shirt collar, but if that suits you then it's ok.
