Review on Weiler Vortec Narrow Crimped Diameter Abrasive & Finishing Products by Jeff Westra

A 60 year old hand grinder that I use to clean wire brushes. I have used this bench grinder since the early 70's and it had some spoked wheels on it.I bought this through Revain and it claims it will fit 5/8" and 1/2" mandrels.They send a piece of plastic that's less than 1/8" wide and I don't think much of it as Weiler is the leading manufacturer of spoked wheels. In fact, however, this gasket is useless. I've died 4 times trying to get a spoked wheel on my machine with the gasket in place. I press it firmly against the rear seal clamping surface, attach the outer clamping washer and nut to the spoked wheel and it's fine until I turn the car on. ko immediately out of the small narrow 1/2 inch diameter spacer and out of the round This space cannot be kept inside the spoked wheel. not with a message from. I'd be happier if this didn't kill everything as it serves no real purpose other than to piss me off.
