Good Buy: Sanding Brushes

This is a great buy for light to medium jobs. I used one of these to clean concrete blocks so they get glued together properly. I cleared a large 3 tier round tree planter in much less time than expected and with very little wire wear. The kit is a good set for small jobs, but watch out for thick wire.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Hard to Tell

Low tail! good for abrasives and finishing materials

I bought these wire wheels thinking they had a 1/4" shank but they actually have a 6mm shank so they work with my IR Grinders can be used because no matter how hard I tighten the collets, they just slip off! Look elsewhere because those spoked wheels are junk unless you plan on using them instead of a cordless/cordless drill!

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Crumpled

Nice set of heavy duty wire brushes

I bought these wire brushes to remove rust and corrosion from some large cast iron manhole covers for years. The wire brushes worked great. After several hours of grinding, the brushes show little or no wear. I used the brushes so intensively that my DeWalt professional electric drill was getting hot and I had to pause to let it cool down.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

They worked perfectly. Just a shortcoming.

They are great and with a little extra work I did what I needed them for but I think there is one downside and that is the shank is round not hex, so you can't connect to the drill quickly, and the rod is very short, making it very difficult to use. I think there are 2 flaws. I would recommend them for the price and if you don't have to do any corner work.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Minor issues

I only have 5 brushes and no cup brush so bought a set

In fact, there is no brush for cups in the kit. It's not that they're useless, I'll still use them, but it's like getting spaghetti when you order lasagna. Yes, of course I'm not against spaghetti, but I ordered lasagna. My life is falling apart

Pros
  • . High marks for support and durability from testers.
Cons
  • . Nothing.

Useful product as advertised

I have used the product to remove cement/mortar and paint from the tracks. The product works as I expected. It's a fair price and I'm glad to have this kit for future use. I agree that it's better not to have round rods (as mentioned in other reviews), but I had no problem getting my drill's brush rods to grip. The drill reaches a high torque limit before the shaft slips.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Used for seasonal grill cleaning

This was exactly what I was looking for. It was a very effective cleaning of my old grill. But be warned: if you use this (or any other wire brush) on the grill, I think you will need to go over the surface again with the grill sponge. There's always a chance you left wire fragments, even if you can't see them and don't want them to end up in your food.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

As expected for abrasive brushes

I bought my wire brush set to start with. I'm glad I did, I've used two brushes already and they work exactly as they should and are holding up. I cleaned 10 years and 180,000 miles of rust from the hubs and rear wheel studs on my 2011 F-150. Brake calipers and parking brake equipment.

Pros
  • Abrasives & Finishes
Cons
  • Only available in black

Best Value at Power Brushes

I have several steel kettlebells that I keep outside in the carport where I train. They had decent rust on the handles. Apply wd40 to them and leave it on for about half an hour. Use one of the medium sized wheels on the drill. Worked great. In less than 10 minutes I was back on steel. No sign of the spoked wheel breaking after two weights. You can get a box full of these for less than $10? How can you be wrong.

Pros
  • Power Brushes
Cons
  • Expensive

Smaller than expected but still works great

I am a professional hobby carpenter (I make and sell cutting boards to supplement my retirement income). For this I use a lot of clips and a lot of titebond 3 glue. I often forget to wax the clips and the glue sticks to them rendering them unusable. I used to get a chisel on the clamps to remove the glue but that was time consuming and bloody as I often hit myself with the chisel. I picked these up for my useless drill press to clean the clamps and I'm blown away. It used to take me 10-20…

Pros
  • Abrasive brushes
Cons
  • No car
