Great for catching cat food and litter. I bought 2 light beige ones because I liked my first one so much I bought a second one. Very rubbery feel, well made, very large. Easy to clean. I just lift the mat and then sweep the mess, very easy to clean. I've been wearing it for 6 months now and I love the pattern, style, color and look. I highly recommend this large rug. I even put 1 in front of my stove where the bottom drawer is so my cat doesn't put cat food under my stove because my cat loves to pick up food and drop it on the floor before eating which makes a big mess . This is perfect for this situation, I just fold the edges of the rug over to my hearth as without heat the floor just stretches. I would highly recommend this large rug to anyone
