For many years with three cats I have tried every type of rug, rug and tray I could find. Garbage is still everywhere. This mat is by far the best I've had for catching rubbish. I have "Springer" cats who like to jump out of the litter box and leave a trail of trash behind. As you can imagine, this meant sweeping and vacuuming twice a day to avoid walking on crusty used garbage. I was hesitant with these rugs as I figured my cats wouldn't walk on them but they seem to step on them just fine.
