My son (2 years old) has autism and we've wanted sensory mats for him for a long time. He's quite a touch seeker and LOVES it. He arranges them and walks over them a few times, asks you to do the same, then puts them back on the shelf. These are bright colors with a variety of textures. They also say they can use it for grating, which will be cool when he gets older. They are made out of hard silicone which is great as my son loves to chew on anything that isn't meant to be chewed haha. I showed it to a speech therapist and an orthopedist and they both loved it and ordered a set to take to other children's homes.
