Used to create level controlled RCA audio outputs on my HDTV

. This device has worked very well to create level controlled RCA audio outputs on my Samsung LN32D403 32" HD LCD TV with 720p 60Hz resolution (Black) [2011 MODEL] Many newer HDTVs don't have audio outputs other than optical, which is a fixed level output that doesn't change with the volume control on the TV remote TV (the sound wasn't great on mine) I wanted to use an inexpensive set of PC speakers for a little improvement, I found a $22 $22 Logitech S220 2.1 speaker set with subwoofer I opened the case on this unit and pulled the circuit board out. Then I removed the screws and the back of the Samsung TV which was pretty easy as it was face down on the bed to avoid scratching the screen. I hot glued the adapter next to the TV control board, connected the input wires to the speaker wires on the TV motherboard (I unplugged the internal speakers as they rattled a lot anyway), and then routed the RCA wires out the back of the TV by cutting out the sticker where it will cover a pre-cut hole in the TV body that was not used for this model of TV. I left the impedance adapter potentiometers at their original settings which I think were around 50% and it works great. I now have volume controlled audio through the RCA jacks on the back of my entry level 32 inch Samsung HDTV.
