This product has wires that are so thin that they can be broken with fingernails. If you manage to connect them, there will be noise/interference in the background. I would not recommend this product.

The circuit has holes in the case and plates on the board to place the potentiometer, but they are not. Very strange. Super cheap hardware for a simple job, works well, poor wiring as you would expect.

I never thought that using this cable for low input amps instead of the high input cable that comes with most amps would result in such a drastic drain on the output and overall performance . Absolute night and day. Spend an extra $7 folks. It is necessary!

I have spent many hours troubleshooting noise and subwoofer level issues in my 2 channel home audio system. I installed two of these (one for each channel due to the spacing between my monoblock amps - you only need one if you're dealing with a stereo amp). As others have pointed out, manufacturing with thin wires etc seems very flimsy, but they work!

Works great for what I needed it for. I wanted to connect my old (15 year old) CD player to my new 7.1 surround sound system. The CD player only had speaker wire outlets, and the surround sound system only accepted digital optical audio cables, HDMI, or RCA cables.
