Why is everything slowing down? The reason is simple - the camera buffers low resolution data and then processes it slowly to produce a smooth stream of higher resolution. It might work when youre barely moving your lips in front of the camera, but in all other cases, wild tomosa is evident. The calculation of marketers and engineers is clear - the Skype transmission channel is even slower and users may not notice that the camera is wildly slow at the resolution for which it was bought. That is why the next version of this camera was called Stream by adding software for broadcasting. And another moment. It is better to connect the camera through an active USB hub, with a separate power supply. Only in this case it is really possible to use it with an extension cord. The usual "active extension cord" is not enough. In general, a complete disappointment, a large number of working man-hours were spent on developing the fight against its bugs.

Pros

The best marketing - when you buy, you think that you got a real thing. Good interpolation mechanisms allow you to create a good static picture from the original low resolution in FullHD. There are no complaints about the microphone.

Cons

it is unreasonably expensive. everything else just doesnt stand up to scrutiny. ill start in points. there is no honest fullhd / 30 there, it is only on a piece of paper, in the specification. 30 frames per second in this mode is simply impossible, the real fps is 3-5 frames per second and at the same time there is a two-five second lag! at 1280x720, everything works as it should, but such a camera costs three times less. unfinished drivers. the camera settings can be reset to the default state quite spontaneously, and the automation often makes mistakes. despite the harsh image processing algorithms, the camera makes a lot of noise under difficult fluorescent lighting, that is, in the office it will work no better than a camera for a the camera does not work well with active extension cords, external power is required.
