Introduction: The KZ-ZSTx is an updated version of the popular KZ-ZST KZ, advertised as offering amazing value for money at a low price. For under $30, you can experience the hybrid technology historically reserved for high-end headphones costing hundreds of dollars. As for the KZ-ZSTx, I really can't say enough good things about this new update and it blows my mind. The fit is great (although if you're unfamiliar with over-ear headphones, it'll take some getting used to). The packaging is very simple but clear. Soundstage/Isolaion: I'll go straight to the weakest part of the IEM. The soundstage of these devices is somewhat limited. The separation is not the greatest with these topics. iem is much more intimate and the soundstage is quite small. However, this has its advantages. A more intimate soundstage brings the music closer and more personal. Overall, it also gives these iemsHighs a warmer signature: the highs of KZ-iems aren't too shiny. It rolls a bit, but it definitely plays into the power of Iems. However, there is no lack of details. You can still make out a lot of detail at high frequencies, and from a technical point of view, you'll still completely forget about things like Apple buds or Skullcandy headphones. . The mids are very present in my listening experience and quite front-firing, which shocked me. I was expecting more V-shaped tuning. The vocals are warm and sound very nice. If you like vocals, there's plenty of mids here. Bass: Bass is also present. It's a beautiful, meaty and dynamic low-end that gives the Iems a warmer tone. Overall, it lets the entire handwriting shine through its warmth and more personal staging. Conclusion: KZ-ZSTx is an updated and improved version of the original. As a general package, this is a great option for most people. The tuning is pretty safe and will satisfy many average consumers, and while it's not the most technical thing under $100, for the price it's pretty amazing. You'll have a hard time finding better value for money IEMs, and even if you do, this IEM is cheap enough that you don't have to worry about trying a different sound signature. I wouldn't recommend these headphones to anyone who wants to see what's better than standard headphones or cheap alternatives that cost 3x the price.
