Review on 📡 Enhanced TERK Indoor Omni-Directional FM Antenna for Improved Signal Reception by Kevin Tompkins

I gave this terk 3 stars but I might give it 5 stars because sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and I don't know why. I can return it and buy a higher quality antenna. I live in New York so my signal level fluctuates, I assume multipath is confusing the tuner, and here I am driving Klipsch Heresy speakers and hearing a muddy stereo simulated mono radio signal. talk about heresy. And I really like New York radio: WBGO, WKRC, WQXR, WNYC, etc. Crime. First; Turk outputs a 75 ohm signal; my Onkyo tuner/amp plugs into a 300 ohm jack and I've asked the readers questions and got all sorts of answers about what I need to plug it in and the answers were everywhere so here's a little: If You' If you're in the same boat as me, you need a balun adapter (300/75 ohm adapter: balanced/unbalanced: balanced/unbalanced) and you're good to go. That's everything else; I connected everything and nothing: a signal strength meter in the dirt, only mono is available. as always with me. I move the grater, put it up, down, sideways, upside down. Dirt. Come back in 2 hours, light it up and. Bingo! I set it to 88.3, usually it's harder to get a station. Very strong stereo signal, stronger than I've ever gotten with a dipole; I can disable simulated stereo and mono/mute. I'm changing stations. back in the dirt. Back to 88.3: now also dirt. I leave the room, mumbling grimly. I come back after a few hours, tune in: food; strong sign! On ALL my stations. Mud again this evening. Anyway, that's my story. Apparently I can pick up a strong signal. sometimes; so I'm not stuck. Will I return this ant for $15? and buy for $130? I do not know. Buy a new receiver or tuner? I doubt they will be anywhere near as high as I am now since no other manufacturer is investing in radios anymore.
