I bought this product a month ago and for many reasons I only came across its use today. To my surprise, a large gap does not allow plugs to be inserted. You can see how I tried using a fork with a lot of compression and the end result was that the larger (positive) pin in the body was broken instead of being seated. This is a complete disappointment. What's the use of being splashproof if the damn thing won't let you plug in polarized plugs? This is a design flaw, none of the three sockets will allow you to connect anything there.
