Review on SYLVANIA XtraVision Halogen Headlight Contains Motorcycle & Powersports by Issac Smart

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Same 45W as OE for bass, up to 65W for treble

Looks like H4666XV bulbs but the packaging (picture) says 55 WW/65W. It's not. It's 45 watts (low beam) and 65 watts (high beam), which means the low beam is the same power as the stock $10 Sylvania headlight as well as the OEM Wagner headlights in my Ford Probe. The only difference is the high beam, which is 10W higher than the OEM Wagner. If you want a brighter low beam you'll have to upgrade to a more expensive bulb, but if you want to keep the factory specs (wattage) that's about it. but with brighter high beam than OEM. Using these headlights in conjunction with 55w fog/high beam headlights makes a HUGE difference. My car has 55w factory fog lights that only light up with the low beam, so I need the higher wattage high beam anyway! left and above, with a wide-angle lens with good dispersion for the side view. The high beam pattern is amazing, no hotspots. only pure, broad, white light is MUCH less!

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not bad
