SYLVANIA XtraVision Halogen Headlight Contains Motorcycle & Powersports Review

A new lamp was installed after I was helped to remove the screws from the headlight housing. The next evening I went to turn on the headlights and nothing, somehow the bulb burned out inside. Inside the lightbulb is a bunch of broken glass. waste of time and money. I just left to make a return and time can't go back. Very disappointed with this product! I had to go to the parts store and buy another lamp.

This is my first headlight review but since my dad couldn't find them at any of the local dealerships I figured why not visit Revain and see if I could find them here for him. I'm so glad I decided to stop by here and was able to get them at an amazing price. They were purchased for a 1991 Chevy S-10 pickup truck. They fit and work great with NO installation issues.

Installed in 97 TJ. Slightly brighter in intensity than standard Wagner. But spread, range and focus are much better: it took me forever to line up the beams. I didn't set it up until after midnight, so the total time it took to set it up was probably around five hours. I just couldn't get them right. Looks like H4666XV bulbs but the packaging (picture) says 55 WW/65W. It's not. It's 45 watts (low beam) and 65 watts (high beam), which means the low beam is the same power as the stock $10 Sylvania headlight as well as the OEM Wagner headlights in my Ford Probe. The only difference is the high beam, which is 10W higher than the OEM Wagner. If you want a brighter low beam you'll have to upgrade to a more expensive bulb, but if you want to keep the factory specs (wattage) that's about it. but…

Most people's claims are paradoxical. You want the brightest, the ones that last the longest and are economical too! That does not happen! If you want even brighter, go for the GE Nighthawk Sport or Sylvania Silverstar - they're a bit brighter but have a shorter lifespan. [Only HID will be really brighter with longer lifespan.
