The base of these sandals is really very wide, but the straps are not designed for a person with a wide foot. My feet are not very wide, but they are wider than average. I had to squeeze, squirm, adjust, and pull with all the might of "strength" to get halfway through. too much trouble Nothing about it reminds me of a cloud. They are incredibly heavy, stiff and uncomfortable. Couldn't imagine hiking in those overpriced sandals. Back immediately.
