I bought these to hold the tie. I used it every day until I retired. I recently bought them for my new suit. You look very expensive and stand out with your tie. I like that you get silver and gold. They fit snugly on a shirt button. I wear mine on the fourth button down. They prevent your tie from moving and keep it in place when you are sitting or moving. The quality is excellent. No sharp or jagged edges. Gold has a very nice shine. Silver is not as bright but still very nice. I highly recommend wearing them with a tie.
