These are beautiful tie chains that will go well with most ties. The buttonhole seems a bit wide and it falls off my shirt from time to time. I tried bending it a bit but the metal is too hard. I'll try to squeeze them together a bit with needle nose pliers. That being said, they're a great alternative to a tie pin or tie clip and I love that they look so much bigger.

My husband doesn't like piercing his silk ties so he asked for these tie chains to replace a few he's lost. The quality isn't there. Stamped from a very thin cheap material in silver and gold tones, the metal clip clings to ties (irony of fate). The chains are so poorly made that I replace them with Walmart chains, which cost less than $2 but are still better quality than these. .

I bought these to hold the tie. I used it every day until I retired. I recently bought them for my new suit. You look very expensive and stand out with your tie. I like that you get silver and gold. They fit snugly on a shirt button. I wear mine on the fourth button down. They prevent your tie from moving and keep it in place when you are sitting or moving. The quality is excellent. Arrived on time well packaged. I had chains for a tie for the first time. You look very professional. Got nice compliments. The only downside is that the pad sometimes moves up and down on one side. So sometimes you have to adapt. Otherwise it's ok, I like them and will order them when needed.

These tie chains don't stand out, which I like. They're not super flashy, but they're well polished. The fit and finish are consistent and pleasing, but not ostentatious. They seem to go better with a "more regular" sized tie than the newer, thinner ones, but I love my vintage hand-dyed silk ties from the 1950's, so they tuck really well. Worth the money if you can't find it at your local menswear store.
