Review on BETOOLL Crankshaft Removal Holding Spanner by Tyler Owens

I used this tool to replace the water pump and timing belt on my 2005 Acura RL. To my knowledge this is the only tool that holds the crankshaft to loosen the bolt on the harmonic balancer. This stud is a PAIN! This tool allowed the screw to be loosened, but did not make it any easier. For this tool you need to use 2 breakers. One to hold this tool in place (to wedge it into something) and one to apply torque. All the time try to keep the holder in place so it doesn't slip off by using all the torque you have! I feel there is room for improvement. Someone has to invent a better holding tool. I actually bought a Lisle Harmonic Balancer Socket with this instrument in hopes it would make things easier. The power socket must not be used together with the connected mount. Finally, I didn't have enough powerful air tools to use an outlet. I ended up heating the bolt to break it. Which is not recommended as the Harmonic Balancer has a rubber seal that can be damaged. Glad that job is done!
