This replacement Joy-Con offers great value for money. It's ergonomically better than the original Switch's Joy-Cons and works right out of the box. I just took out and put in the original joy mines and they were automatically recognized and worked. If you use it with a controller mount, it can be a bit difficult to turn on. You need to hold down the home and screenshot buttons for about 3 seconds for it to turn on. When I first tried it on a controller mount I thought the controllers were dead, turns out I only had to hold the buttons for a few seconds to turn it on. You can either charge these Joy Cons by leaving them plugged into the Switch, or you can use the included cable they give you. Double USB-C cable with USB-A on the other end. They last about the same as the original Joy cons in terms of battery life.
