KVM switches should emulate EDID information from monitors and present it to the operating system as a dummy monitor when the KVM switch has switched to another computer. This KVM switch does not do what Mac OS or Windows 10 recognize. Mac OS is smart enough to deal with monitors that come and go [slowly], but Windows 10 does NOT - when you switch monitors, all your windows move to the monitor that sees it first. Worse, sometimes all or your windows will be moved and resized to fit the 800x600 resolution screen! Some might argue that this is a Windows 10 error, but it's best to wait until it's fixed. If all your computers are Macs, this will work fine for you, but if one computer is Windows 10, it really can't be used. I also had problems with ground loops with the speaker switch; although I'm not sure if that was the switcher's fault. So that really should get zero stars for use with Windows 10 and maybe four stars for use with Mac. I have not tried other operating systems.
