My husband and I live in a three story townhouse. We're a small company – his office is upstairs and mine is downstairs, which means we're constantly yelling hoarsely at each other when we're on the phone up and down the stairs. Now we keep in touch with two walkie-talkies instead of yelling all the time. That's great! They charge quickly (several hours) on the charging cradle that comes with the radios, and rechargeable batteries that match each device are included. You can also get the latest weather information from these radios. And hey, these things are FUN! Do you remember CB radios? They're almost as fun as these things, 10-4. We even developed our own pens (which I won't reveal here). These are high quality radios that sound amazing and have a good range - at least two stories! Ideal for city dwellers. Five stars.
