Review on πŸš™ Dorman 748-560 Rear Driver Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly for Dodge / Sterling Truck Models: Efficient Solution for Smooth Window Operation by Jason Franco

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The structure works well. For my Dodge Ram 2500.

Assembly works fine. My Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab has three problems. If the connector is facing the back of the door and not the front, the entire geared motor assembly is upside down. So you need to connect the extension cord to the wires of the plug. Second, the rotation of the motor is reversed, so when making the connection you have to swap the wires. The spacing between the holes in the sliding top track is about half an inch smaller than the studs in the tabs on the glass. So I had to put a large washer on the front end to allow the nut to clamp part of the teardrop notch with a large hole for the nut to slide. This little solution worked. In terms of assembly, lifting the window from the very bottom is a bit anemic. The torsion spring cannot be installed with the full turn required for proper balancing. KEEP YOUR OLD SWIRL SPRING. The torsion spring is not supplied with the new assembly. This is a recap of day one. The time will show.
