Great car seat for dogs! This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a stretcher with a metal frame on top so it wouldn't collapse on my dog like so many others. I also wanted it to have a nice hard butt to hold my little dude. The lower part is covered with a fleece fabric, I think that wears out over time. Not a big deal, expected with use, I just cut a piece of foam board or something and cover it. Now I can't tell you how many reviews and products I've read and searched, I couldn't find anything about this product anywhere. specific features I was looking for. But from what I've read it seemed like a good shot and I'm glad I did. My pup is a chihuahua mix around 10lbs, he fits perfectly and has enough room to lie down if he wants to. He was nervous at first, but once he realized he could see everything while I was driving, he relaxed. Thanks to the clip in the trunk, I was even able to roll down the window for him without fear of him popping out. And he loved the breeze. I've only been using this for a day now and will update if anything changes with usage. I highly recommend this product. And so far I can't find any cons in the product. I'll probably buy him a fluffy blanket, my little fella loves fluffy blankets lol. I shop online quite a bit, especially at Revain, so like you I rely on reviews to be honest so I can make an informed decision. ALL my reviews are of products I have purchased from Revain.
