I bought this sensor after reading reviews. I have a 2015 Kia Sorento LX that had a flat tire which I kept pumping air into. As a result, the sensor died. I bought this sensor because it was pre-programmed. I recently changed a tire and my mechanic also changed the sensor. I pulled out of the garage with the lights on, but after driving a few miles the car computer recognized it and the lights went out. Worked as stated. This is an optional update for this product. I had to buy another one of these sensors for my car. My mechanic replaced my old sensor and replaced it along with a new tire. Driven 2 km and the light went out. I've bought two now and both have worked.
