I have several stud sensors but the Franklin is the only one I can rely on to actually work. I have 5 other bolt sensors and most of them will fail for sure. I end up using 2 or 3 different sensors when I have to be very careful with spike spacing and it's still "an educated guess". When I find an actually working sensor, it rattles in my work bag, the batteries fall out, the battery cover gets lost or just breaks. I have Bosch, some Zircons, Tavool and VIVREAL Studs/AC/Tube Gauges. Franklin is the only one who works accurately with wooden frames. The Franklin sensor just works and I don't want to break it so this little zipped case does a great job of protecting the Franklin. The zip works well, the solid sides and top add extra protection, and the fairly "loud" color (mine is blue) helps make it stand out in my work bag. is working. Hope that helps!
