Review on Ultimate Boxing Gloves for Men and Women: Hayabusa H5 Delivers Unmatched Quality and Performance by Kevin Carr

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They look well tailored but don't fit me as well as the S4

I had a model S4 (the cheapest) Hayabusa and was very happy with them, they lasted a long time until eventually the gasket on the left broke and I had to buy new ones. Bought the T3 - it didn't work too hard for me to put on and take off and if you have to do it multiple times during a lesson it's no good. Sent them back because they definitely didn't work due to the added price difference. I ended up buying this H5 model. I've been training with them against a heavy sack for a while, but the support they provide is a little strange because I feel like my wrist isn't protected as it used to be. I also have an odd pain in my elbow on one arm. I'm not very happy with them either, but unfortunately I postponed the return and now the return window has closed. In summary, the S4s were legit, but the more expensive models (T3 and H5) just don't suit me :(. I have a pair of $30 RDX gloves that I'd rather train in than these H5s at the moment, so little I like this model.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE, COMFORT AND PROTECTION: The H5 training gloves combine adjustability, comfort and protection. The unique elastic wrist closure and layered padding ensure a perfect fit and the protection you need.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
