Review on Backpack Defender Carbon 15.6 black by Micha Kumicki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

I haven’t worn backpacks for a very long time - perhaps since the end of the last century (I prefer to use various briefcases and bags, including for a laptop), so I don’t particularly have anything to compare this backpack with. I bought the Defender Carbon 15.6 rather as a backup option - for those rare cases when, in addition to a laptop and accessories for it, you need to take a few more different things with you and fit it all in one place, without additional packages and bags. I have an excellent, very comfortable and high-quality bag specifically for a laptop, but it only fits the laptop itself, a mouse, cables, and a little bit of every little thing; there is much more space in the backpack. This backpack is quite roomy - I even fit in it (albeit "back to back" and without fixing it with an internal retention strap) a large laptop with a screen diagonal of 17.1 '', in addition to it, there is still a lot of space in other compartments for accessories (mouse, cables, etc.) .) and miscellaneous junk. According to the first impressions, the backpack is tightly sewn - I wore it alternately on the same strap with a decent load (heavy 17.1'' laptop + accessories + various junk) - everything is ok, nothing burst, it holds well. As an option for infrequent and short trips, I believe this budget backpack is quite suitable, however, if you plan to use it regularly and wear it on your back continuously for several hours in a row, then it is better to purchase something more expensive and of higher quality from more ergonomic and " breathable materials.

Pros
  • - low price; - relatively good workmanship of the backpack as a whole; - decent appearance; - good capacity.
Cons
  • - even in cool weather, the back sweats a lot under the backpack (the backpack is made of synthetic materials, so it's not surprising); - on the straps on the front side there is a firmware made with red threads (see photo). Made, apparently, "for beauty" and as a design element - but it looks so-so, for an amateur - I personally did not like it, I would prefer a more strict and uniform firmware with black threads; - one of the zippers of the backpack started to "stick" a little right after the purchase.

10 minutes of use, and the child calls from the school that the strap came off. I continue to watch.
