Pretty much everything you heard was true.

The first thing to note is that some people say these fans are "noisy" at high speed. I have these fans in an NZXT S340 heatsink on a special cycle that runs 24/7 with the 3080 FE running at full load (because it's mining). The video memory of a Stock 3080 can easily reach 110ยฐC under full load. In a water cooled circuit that drops to the mid 80's and below the 90's depending on the ambient temperature. I bought these fans to replace some Corsair AF140. In comparison, they lowered the temperature by about 2 degrees C. Due to the need to keep the GPU cool, I run these fans at 100%. Be quiet? no Are they noticeable? Yes, but anything but unbearable. If the window in the room is open, I don't even notice them. The "noise" they make at FULL LOAD is certainly acceptable considering they're running at 1500 rpm; However, if you run them below 1200 or less, they are practically silent. Unless you're very sensitive to noise and don't need to run 140mm fans at 1500rpm, I doubt you consider noise a factor. The thing is, they move a lot of air no matter what you think of their noise level. I can clearly feel the air being pulled from the front of the case with the air filter through the 280mm radiator. However, have realistic expectations and don't expect a significant temperature drop unless you have really bad standard fans or add them to an unused fan. slots in the housing. You pay for both performance and quality. You get a 6-year guarantee, great design, high-quality materials and superior technology. You get all that with this fan.
