Review on Recliner 12451495 Chevrolet Silverado Suburban by Brent Porter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Installation less than 20 minutes, works as expected.

Fits my 2012 GMC Sierra SLE. Installation is a bit complicated, but you can get it done in 20 minutes or less. Take out the 7mm screw in front of the cover, pull out a circular twist, it just pops out so check the tabs and pull at a slight angle. The seat recline has a clip that is accessed by removing the top seat belt pad. Use the light and remove the clip. Then the panel comes out, there's a clip in the middle of the cover, FYI. The switch has multiple tabs and is securely fastened, so gently begin working on the tabs with a flathead screwdriver. You should be able to use some leverage to flip the switch off. Remove the protective clip on the connector, unplug the connector and replace the switch. To reinstall simply reverse the steps, attach a touch of the bolt clamp, 3/4 of the used needle nose pliers, attach the clamp to the outside and slide the whole thing. Inch This is much easier than trying to attach the clip to the inside of the port side seat belt. It is also very important to check all this before reassembling!
