Review on Pack of Two Kosher Yahrtzeit Memorial and Yom 🕯️ Kippur Candles - 9 Day Yartzeit Candle with Plastic Holder by Justin Jefferson

This is my first experience with multi-day candles so I can't compare to other brands. But they were less than I expected for the advertised burn time. For the first few days, the wick gave off a lot of carbon, causing the flame to burn poorly. I cut it several times. But as it burned down so that all the flames were under the top of the container, it stabilized and burned well. This leads me to think it's draft sensitive so I might have to find another place to put it. There was no odor perceptible, neither burnt nor luminous. The flame was small and didn't give much light, but I wasn't looking for light. I was surprised by the plastic container but happy to find that it works just as well without the risk of breaking (I haven't burned one through yet though, so I don't know how much wax to leave on it). below). I've had no trouble melting the plastic, although it does get hot (I know some plastics are rated for very high temperatures, as some automakers considered making an engine out of this material at one point). What I don't like about these candles is that the label doesn't come off easily. But that doesn't matter. I will definitely buy them again.
