Bought as an emergency light source, at home and for unforeseen circumstances. The price was so cheap compared to other long-burning candles, they didn't contain the listed harmful chemicals, and they came in a non-glass container, making them lighter and more portable. They don't give off a strong flame and I haven't tested them for 9 days but I did a test run and I'm very satisfied that they are fit for purpose.

Candle went out 3 times in the first two days, I had to scoop out a small amount of wax around the wick (about a teaspoon) to light the candle again. This fixed the problem. UPDATE: After entering the above review, this candle would go out every time I lit it (about 10 times total). Extremely disappointing and disappointing not to mention the frustration it caused me because this candle was dedicated to a dear family member who had just lost our family.

I used to buy these candles in glass holders and they broke a lot (Revain replaces them for free so I don't have a big problem with them) so I decided to try these as the glass holder is plastic. I was a bit skeptical at first as I wasn't sure how well the plastic would stand up to a constantly burning flame. But because candles are made from vegetable oil and not paraffin wax, they burn at a lower temperature and work great.

Although we are not Jews, we choose kosher food whenever possible. I bought two pairs of these 9 day old candles to prepare for the next power outage. A week passed and a hurricane destroyed our power grid area. 4 candles were perfect. We didn't have to worry about it burning too fast. In fact, not even half an inch was used in the hours we used them. Another cool aspect of this is that each candle comes with a cap to keep the candle clean when not in use. This is my first experience with multi-day candles so I can't compare to other brands. But they were less than I expected for the advertised burn time. For the first few days, the wick gave off a lot of carbon, causing the flame to burn poorly. I cut it several times. But as it burned down so that all the flames were under the top of the container, it stabilized and burned well.
