Instead of using a car dashboard or phone vent, this drink holder is the perfect alternative solution. How many times has your phone fallen out of a vent or mount on your dashboard so you had to climb to grab your phone? Adjustable cup size allows for a snug fit on most cup holders. It even comes with extra sponges for those extra large cup holders. Simply turn the dial at the base and the sides stretch or contract for a precise fit. The adjustable gooseneck works great for my car which has the shifter on the center console next to the cup holders. The phone is securely mounted on the platform and can be rotated 360 degrees and moved up/down for easy viewing while driving. The phone was almost completely assembled, only the phone platform had to be attached to the gooseneck. The instruction manual was detailed with pictures and was easy to follow. I love it. My daughter wants one for her car! I definitely recommend it. The only downside I have is that if you have a finger ring on the back of the phone you'll need to make sure you tightly adjust the side grips to hold it securely as it can't lie perfectly flat.
