The fabric is nice and thick but a little rough. The knee pad is made of even thicker material and the belt is just an elastic band. Overall they seem to be of decent quality for the price. I'm 5ft 3" and I usually wear a size 9 jeans. I have a 27" waist but a 40" butt so I had no idea what size to go. Size 28 and seems to fit well It's comfortable in the waist and butt but gets a little lost on the legs and the legs are very long (since everything fits if you're small like me!) but they are mainly Made from cotton and , will likely shrink with washing (I'll try to remember to renew this after a few wears/washes). **Update: They shrank in the wash and actually fit a bit better. Pretty much During (worn 3 times) they hold up well.
