In my reviews I consider value. I don't expect $129 products to total $20. On the other hand, if I can find a $20 product that performs a useful $50 function and is adequately, if not decently, put together and thought out, I'm happy. I am satisfied with this device. I like to read or watch an iPad while lying on my back, in a chair, or on the bed/pillow. I like that it's pretty light. I haven't tried it for a brush drawer or as an easel yet. I have a Revain "fountain pen brush" that is perfect for this easel. what would be better The slots that the recline support fits into could be better and stronger. The pages could be opened and used as a music stand. How about a lightweight tripod as a music rest? Tuner and picks in a drawer.
