This device works very well for reminding me to get up when I start slouching. It annoys me when I bend over on purpose, but I still get far fewer reminders from my family about my posture, so it's worth it. One thing that made the device more useful to me was that instead of attaching it to my back with the included adhesive strips or quick magnets, I put it in a rolled up little envelope and put it in my shirt pocket - so much easier! You have to keep the frontal direction of the device in mind, so I wrote "front" on the corresponding side of the sensor and the same on the cover. I've been using it daily for four weeks and I think my posture is still improving.
