Got these on a lightning deal and I'm sorry I didn't trust a (very thorough) review that wasn't entirely positive as looking back I feel got that she was right. I had a basic clock radio for about 15 years. It worked fine but I wanted to upgrade to something I can use to charge my phone. It seemed to be everything I was looking for, but there were a few hiccups. PROS: Small - great for places where you don't have a lot of space on your bedside table. Charges your phone, iPad, etc. Two alarm settings (compared to my old watch!) Display brightness can be changed. CONS: - Took a little time to set up which seems strange to me for a basic clock radio - I confess I didn't think about it before buying it but I can't see the clock face at all at night (even on max brightness). I have really terrible eyesight. My last watch had the standard red numerals, so I could squint at night (without glasses) and still roughly read the time. Don't go with this watch. Can't see it at all It's really frustrating when you want to see what time it is when your kid got up for the millionth time that night. As another reviewer said, the buttons are flush, so it's VERY hard to tell which button you're pressing (e.g. when you're drowsily trying to take a nap and get another 9 minutes of sleep). "than my last hours. Although I feel like I could put this "better" clock in the spare room and bring back my old trusty "plain" clock that I'm used to.
