Review on 🎤 Adjustable Electret Microphone Amplifier by Adafruit by Brian Olson

Bought two and regretted every second. They should be used as a microphone amplifier for a radio transmitter. Have tried the device on 2 desktops and 3 sound cards (2 dongles and 1 on board) and also on a transmitter with all precautions (capacitor, resistor etc.). Bottom line, even at the top end of the trim, gain is low and tone above 2kHz seems reduced. Sometimes hiss is added for a reason. Very disappointing results compared to a $1 computer mic that worked flawlessly with good gain and response without add-ons. Be careful and don't buy. real garbage.
