We needed a freestanding pet gate so I bought it on October 9th. It was more expensive than what I was looking for, but looks like it's exactly what I need. It's good-looking, pure white, and folds away to be placed in a corner when not in use. After a while I noticed that a piece of wood had jumped out. It was on the corner but not very problematic so I just glued it back on. You can see it in one of the photos. Today I noticed that one of the screws in the hinges fell out. I wanted to put it back and it wasn't sticking because the wood was cracking around it. I'm very disappointed with the price of this gate and the fact that it was exactly what we were looking for, however it seems to fall apart with normal use so I don't expect it to last me much longer. If you are looking for a free standing pet gate I suggest you look elsewhere. Edit to add: Downgraded to 1 star because it just completely broke. This is unacceptable. This is very poor quality and you should stay away.
