Review on 🎮 Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition Xbox One Controller: Remappable Buttons, Hair Trigger Mode - PC, Xbox Series X & S Compatible - Black by Ryan Vaughn

Use this instead of Wolverine Ultimate Edition!

Many brands make controllers with remapping rear paddles, but Razer makes the only controller I know of with two additional remapping shoulder buttons. This is a huge benefit for many games, as you don't have to lift your thumbs off the sticks to press the buttons as often, giving you more control. I fell in love with this design years ago when I first started using the Razer Raiju Tournament Edition on my PS4, which is why I later bought it to use exclusively on my Windows 10 PC via a wired connection. Please note that other reviews complaining about it not working on PC are no longer valid. I can confirm that it works without problems. I originally purchased the Razer Wolverine Ultimate Edition and have concluded that the design was flawed and the Tournament Edition remains the better of the two controllers. With the Ultimate Edition you get a few extra features that proved useless for my needs. The two extra rear buttons that the Tournament Edition has are nice, but ultimately unnecessary. I no longer needed the mic and headphone control hub since I play on PC. The real problem, though, is that the ability to swap joysticks and joysticks has actually proven to be more of a hindrance than an advantage, as this feature comes at a huge cost: magnetic joysticks dangle and wiggle out of the box, but the joystick body itself is also very prone to tearing and more momentum. Also, only one set of directional buttons worked properly, delivering a tactile click. I swapped out the Wolverine Ultimate four times over the course of a few months before realizing it wasn't just a faulty controller as these issues were present on all four units. went through a great design with remappable shoulder and paddle buttons. I decided to try Razer again by going back to the Wolverine Tournament Edition as I've been using the Raiju Tournament Edition for years and have had no complaints. The best decision I could have made! The keys are still very tactile and pleasant. The joysticks are buttery smooth, with no play or unwanted wobble. That's all I liked about Raiju Tournament except the Xbox version!
