They seem to be holding up well. After reading the reviews I was skeptical but didn't want to buy plastic replacement parts for the movement for four times as much. I wanted something more durable due to the melting of the factory plastic ends. I soldered them in and added some sealant on the back to protect them from the elements. So far, so good. As long as the ceramic keeps the heat in, I don't see any future problems with the headlights. It's sad that Chevy cheapens so many factory parts these days that seem to cause so many headaches. I have read many forums and blogs about malibu headlight problems and decided to do this for a reason. I'm glad I did.
