🎶 Now I see clearly, the light is on. 🎶

They seem to be holding up well. After reading the reviews I was skeptical but didn't want to buy plastic replacement parts for the movement for four times as much. I wanted something more durable due to the melting of the factory plastic ends. I soldered them in and added some sealant on the back to protect them from the elements. So far, so good. As long as the ceramic keeps the heat in, I don't see any future problems with the headlights. It's sad that Chevy cheapens so many factory parts…

Buy this for electrical

Very well made product for the money. This product is made of ceramic, which is an excellent heat insulator. This is exactly what I needed for my 2011 Dodge Charger SE. A known problem among owners of this year's Dodge Charger is that the factory headlight connectors overheat and melt to the point of failure. Usually the light bulb burns out due to a short circuit. If your headlight plugs are recessed in a tight spot, like in my car. You do NOT want to keep replacing your headlight connectors…

It's worth it and that.

Purchased in February. After having problems with Pontiac G6 since September 2019, the bulb burned out, then the base melted, resulting in more bulbs, then replacing the base on weak bulbs didn't help, and finally melted again. I'll adjust or raise the headlight to turn it back on before the end of the week before it's time to swap it out again. In all, more than 200 was spent on replacement and repair. This continued from September '19 until I bought them in February. No problems to date, 7…

Pros

Cons
  • No performance

Disadvantages: - Very solid, connector very, very difficult to remove - Connector is not waterproof! That was the biggest disappointment for me. The headlight housing has a clean opening for moisture and air to enter (see illustration). Over time, this will destroy the headlight and will certainly lead to corrosion. Although the material appears to be ceramic, it appears to be very brittle (one of mine was broken) and both were very gritty (they were all covered in ceramic dust). Pros: - See if

A simple solution to an uncomfortable problem

I have a fleet of GM pickups and Suburbans. The headlights started failing again. I was very frustrated until I realized that the plug to the lightbulb was to blame. It just can't handle the current, causing the plastic connector to melt. The combination of melted plastic and corrosion of the overheated metal joint cuts power to the bulb. If you don't catch it and just change the lightbulb, the process will result in a good-enough connection for a short time. These ceramic connectors seem like…

Much better than iJDMTOY

My headlight connector melted on one of the headlights on my 2014 Kia Forte. I chose Revain, ordered the top rated iJDMTOY connectors and installed them with a new bulb thinking my problem was solved. A few weeks later I got an intermittent headlight blackout with this fixture and I write it off as an unreliable connection on my side as it was less than 20 degrees outside, windy and dark when I installed it. When I checked it out on a nice warm day I found that the new plug had melted and I did
