Potentially Dangerous - Leg suddenly failed during use after 2 years

Update 2 years later. One of the chair's plastic legs failed spontaneously. I was sitting on it at my desk in my air-conditioned workshop and wasn't even moving when suddenly a foot came off near the middle of the foot. I'm not a featherweight, but well under the weight limit. The extra wheel has also come loose. Up to this point everything worked perfectly. Unfortunately, since the failure occurred suddenly, I suddenly fell on the concrete and injured my leg and back when I fell on the ground between two work tables. Luckily I didn't hit my head. I do not recommend this. The pillow is comfortable but the molded plastic was clearly defective and simply failed over time. ---------------- ---------------------------------- ----------------------------------- --------------------------- I use this chair in my home hobby workshop on a low bench as high as my desk. Other tall desks I have use taller bar stools. To be honest, I returned Harbor Freight's ridiculously uncomfortable mechanic's stool, which was cheaper, before ordering this one. The HF had a very strong steel base, hard red rubber wheels that are frankly more durable than those plastic wheels. However, the thin round seat had very thin wood support under the foam and very little padding. The thin wooden support buckled when I leaned forward or to the side, which did not inspire confidence in its durability. Worst of all, it hurt to sit for more than a few minutes. It was great 80% of the time, but the last 20% was a really crappy, painful pillow. This "PartySaving" chair has a not-so-fancy plastic base and wheels better suited for indoor (not garage) floors. But the pillow is much more comfortable and firm than the HF. I could easily work for several hours. It's about 50% more expensive than the HF on offer, but it's worth the extra cost.
