I have a 2015 Mini Cooper S 2 door and a 28lb Corgi. I needed a carrier of some kind for my dog for three reasons: their body is too long to be comfortable in the passenger seat (and uncomfortable to put in the back seat where they can't access the window anyway), it's closed small to stick my nose out the window and I didn't want to risk him trying to climb onto my lap like he once did in a car with a big front seat. This children's chair is the perfect solution! It's just perfect for the passenger seat (if it was bigger I wouldn't be able to close the door), it was easy to put together and I've washed the cover and cushion several times and they've held up great. My dog loves to sit in it and on long journeys he curls up comfortably and sleeps in it. I've also used it to transport a larger 30 lb senior corgi with no problems. I definitely recommend this product! I'm editing to add that I think there's a way to buckle a seat belt through this bag or attach it to the car seat with a seat belt, but I've never figured out how. If someone could tell me that would be great! My dog has finally grown slightly in weight, length and girth and still fits comfortably in this car seat.
