I installed this on a 2018 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V8 engine and the difference is truly amazing. This is a Rocky Ridge Altitude Edition Truck (6" lift, Flowmaster exhaust, CAI and 35" tires. I've always felt that the engine power and torque made the truck not perform as it should. Stopping resulted in unprecedented acceleration which I thought was all it could give considering the overall weight and big tires.My first ride with the Pedal Commander in a Sport+ ended in a burn out.Who thinks you can do the same Can get results just by hitting the gas faster, who's wrong? The computer controls the rate at which the throttle opens, so pressing the accelerator faster has little to no effect on the production car. I'm still playing with the settings (36 total) to find the best daily driver option for me But knowing what my truck is for now with this controller compared to a stock softsta rt capable makes the price totally worth it. Plus it won't void your warranty and can be deactivated in minutes if you need to take it in for service. I was skeptical but the first run told me everything I needed to know - this thing is amazing!
