Out of 12 pens, 9 worked very well. The ones that worked had a perfect outline with silver in the middle. Of the three that didn't work, one was completely dry and the other two looked like they had been used and no shaking or priming of the tip would turn them silver in the middle, also leaked a lot of ink from these two. an indication that a simple line shimmered through three pieces of thick watercolor paper. Other pens that worked didn't bleed as much as the two that were ruined. In general, the price is not bad, but the quality control is not very good.
